Volunteers from Acer UK and Google UK team up to plant 1,500 trees

In a remarkable display of environmental stewardship, volunteers from Acer UK and Google UK joined forces to plant 1,500 sapling trees in rural West Haddon, North Hampshire. This initiative was part of Acer UK's ongoing campaign to plant 100 trees for every Aspire Vero and Chromebook Vero laptop purchased and registered in the UK.
A team of dedicated volunteers from both companies participated in the tree-planting event, contributing to a greener future for the region. The 1,500 saplings planted will help to sequester carbon, improve air quality, and provide vital habitat for local wildlife.
"We are thrilled to have worked with volunteers from Google UK on this important project," said Craig Booth, General Manager at Acer UK. "Acer is committed to making a tangible difference in the fight against climate change. By planting trees, we are investing in the health of our planet and ensuring a better future for generations to come."
The tree-planting day was a resounding success, thanks to the hard work and enthusiasm of the volunteers from Acer UK and Google UK. This initiative is a testament to Acer's commitment to environmental sustainability.
