The security and safeguarding of Acer customer data are our priorities, therefore, we have deployed an update for Acer Care Center and Acer Control Center, which enhances security measures when verifying the authenticity of software and driver updates. Effective immediately, Acer Care Center and Acer Control Center will automatically download the updated version upon initialization.

What you should do:
To check if the latest version is installed on your device or to manually install the update, click on the information icon to access the “Check for updates” function.

Scope of Impact:
Acer Care Center & Acer Control Center can be installed on any Acer consumer PC that was manufactured after 2014 and runs Windows 8.1 or any more recent Windows OS.
