Информация за Закона на ЕС за данните
The EU Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854) applies to certain hardware products and associated services controlling those products, defined in the EU Data Act as “connected products” and “related services”. During your use of Acer’s connected products and related services, your data governed by the EU Data Act may be generated. The following information is provided to meet Acer’s pre-contractual information obligations under Article 3 of the EU Data Act.
Type, Format, and Estimated Volume of Product Data
- Acer’s connected products are capable of generating different types of data. However, the actual generation and availability of such data depend on how the product is installed, which Acer’s applications or services are activated, and the settings chosen by the customer. For the purposes of this disclosure, we assume that all default services in Acer’s connected products are enabled and that the customer has consented to the transmission of telemetry data to Acer.
- Acer’s connected products may generate log information relating to the performance and system status of their hardware, firmware, and software. This may include details about device settings, usage records, and customer interactions with the product. In addition, the product may generate analytics data. Examples of such data include operational status information, and technical details concerning performance or usage (such as crash logs or performance metrics).
- Product Data may be stored in one of the following format(s): json, txt, SQLite, dmp, etl or any other commonly-used data formats.
- The volume of data generated can vary according to factors such as the specific model of the product, its software version, the activated functionalities, the configuration and settings applied, and the way the customer uses the product.
Continuous and Real-Time Data Generation
The connected product continuously generates product data in real time.
Product Data Storage and the Intended Duration of Retention
- On-Device Storage: The connected product temporarily stores product data locally on the device.
- Remote Storage: The connected product stores anonymous product data on remote, Acer-managed servers.

Acer does not plan to share the readily available data with our service providers.
Authorized Third Parties to Request Access to Data
Where you authorize a third party to access the data generated by your use of an Acer’s connected product, that third party may submit a request to Acer. In such cases, Acer will provide the authorized third party with access to the relevant data, to the extent that the data is available and can be attributed to you, and in accordance with the arrangements agreed between Acer and the requesting third party.
Trade Secrets
The readily available data does not contain Acer trade secrets.
Termination of Services
You may continue to use Acer’s services for as long as they are made available, unless either you or Acer decide to terminate the service in accordance with the terms of the agreement governing the provision of that service.
