The graphics card on searching seems to be the nvidia GTX 1660 Super which would be fine there are lot of GTX 1660 for sale by different manufacturers ie Asus, MSI and gigabyte to name a couple. Aspire TC-1760 Desktop wont load windows
I left my Aspire TC-1760 Desktop on, whilst I went out. Came home and the PC was off. So rebooted and came it up with issues wouldn't load to windows. A few times of rebooting came up with the blue screen to go through error process. Tried all previous restores, said it was unsuccessful. Tried uninstall firmware updates exactly the same unsuccessful. So thought the HDD maybe corrupted, so took the sata HDD out and tried it on a laptop via docking station seemed ok, everything was there. Looked at the spec and said there was an SSD drive in there, have opened the desktop and cant seem to see one ?? https://www.acer.com/gb-en/desktops-and-all-in-ones/aspire-classic-desktops/aspire-tc/pdp/DT.BHUEK.00P Have rebooted the PC without the sata hard drive connected, still get to the blue screen so it must be there unless loaded onto the motherboard. My emails were being downloaded to the other hard drive, so need the PST file more than anything. Any ideas, would be greatly appreciated. [Edited the thread to add model name to the title]

Acer TC-1760 - Removing a Memory Module
I want to replace the 4GB memory chip with a 8GB module. In viewing the DIMM sockets (from the back of the case towards the front), there is a clip on the left side of the socket that unlocks easily. Do these sockets only use one clip? There doesn't seem to be a clip on the right side. Yet when I tried to to remove the RAM module, only the left side started to dislodge.

Aspire TC-1760 Problem after upgrading to ssd
I recently swapped out my HDD for an SSD. Everything seemed fine, but now a week later my computer isn't booting consistently. I have to back into the BIOS and resellect the SSD. And now sometimes Windows 11 won't run properly. I try updating but it says its up to date. I would put everything back as it was, but I already cleaned the old hdd. Does anyone have any suggestions. Brand new TC-1760 won't boot after adding HDD
I just bought a TC-1760 icore5 12400 with a 500 gig Kensington SSD. Works super fast compared to my older Acer, but... I added a brand new Seagate 1Terabite Sata HDD for data storage, and the machine won't boot with it connected. I get the Acer logo and the spinning dots forever. If I leave the power connected and disconnect the SATA cable, it will boot. If I disconnect the power cable and leave the SATA cable connected it won't boot. If I do a hot connect after the machine is booted, the drive is not seen either. I tried the other SATA ports and no luck. I checked the bios and it's not there either. I can feel the drive spin up for about 5 secs when I try to boot the machine but then just the Acer logo, so I know the HDD is getting power. I can't find any bios setting where the SATA ports are disabled. I even disconnected the DVD drive and used that port, but the results are the same. I can't test the HDD in my old computer because it has different ports. I'm stumped. Does anyone have any ideas on this?
DVD reader not working Acer Aspire TC-1760 UA92
I just bought an Acer Aspire TC-1760 UA92 desktop. It had Windows 11 on it, but I went back to Windows 10. Everything seems to work OK except the 8X DVD reader. When I insert a disc I can hear it spinning, but it does not read the disc. The DVD reader DOES show up in Device Manager, so I had it check for updates, no updates. The DVD reader does NOT show up in File Manager. Once in a blue moon, if you wait about 10 minutes, it MIGHT show up. At that point I can click on it, and it will then play the music DVD. I talked to an ACER tech. support guy. He told me the DVD reader is too NEW for those discs. I tried at least six, and none of them play. But they all play in my other computer. I think he was full of ****. I checked the acer support page, there are NO drivers for the DVD reader. Suggestions, please. Mike [Edited the thread to add model name to the title]
