In 2023 the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (S-211) was passed in Canada and went into effect on January 1, 2024. The Act imposes an obligation on certain government institutions and private-sector entities to report on the measures taken to prevent and reduce the risk that forced labour or child labour is used by them or in their supply chains.
In accordance with the Act, Acer America Corporation has published its report for 2025, which outlines the measures that Acer has taken in 2024 to prevent and reduce the risk of forced and child labor in its supply chain. The report is searchable on the
Public Safety Canada website and is also available
here for download.
