No starting Microsoft Office Starter 2010

On 3/31/2014, I have purchased refurbished S3-391-6448 from walmart store, which must include " Microsoft Office Starter 2010". This one; http://www.walmart.com/ip/Acer-Silver-13.3-S3-391-6448-Laptop-PC-with-Intel-Dual-Core-i3-2377M-Processor-and-Windows-8-Operating-System/23740346 This is a great one, but there is one poblem about office starter. When I click microsoft office icon in start menu, "use" buttom does not appear on the pop-up. So, I cannot begin office starter version. Instead, three selective icons make appear; "a ctivate", "purchase", or "Try", like this; http://lh5.ggpht.com/-9xAMQHh0CzQ/UjMF4O3FJgI/AAAAAAAAAPE/6U5JKXIM-Ow/Activate%252520office_thumb%25255B2%25255D.png?imgmax=800 Clicking "Try" leads to the page of temporary use for office 365. Clicking "Purchase" also leads to the web page. "Activate" requires the product key of some kind of office 2010 other than the Starter model. My states is here 1. I confirmed user's guide, but there was no part of microsoft office. 2. When I intend to open the .docs, or .xlsx files, the same pop-up appers, which shows "a ctivate", "purchase", or "Try". 3. T here is no row including "office starter" in my installed program list. 4. There is a row including "Microsoft office 2010" in the list, instead. 5. After I deleted "Microsoft office 2010", the pop-up never appear. And no related program goes existing. 6. There is "no" folder of C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OEMOffice14\OStarter. 7. There is one folder of C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OEMOffice14\Office14, which shows office other than starter ver, and occupy 1.3GB. 8. Ocuppied space in C\program files(x86)\Microsoft office is about 6MB. 9. I have done Acer's factory recovery, but the problem remains in spite of initiallized. 10. I have inquired to walmart, but they don't provide helpful informaion about software. Acer Aspire V3-571G won't start.After powerfailure don't start any more. Help!

Had a powerfailure, turned off the laptop to save batteries. Now it won't start, the powerbutton don't respond to pressure, won't light up. Tried to keep it pressed (10-120s) with and without battery/power cord attached. NO difference. Have removed the BIOS battery now and letting it rest without ANY power connected to the laptop. What more can I try? It worked like a charmed until I choose "Shut down" from Windows 7 startmenu

Starcraft 2 offer by predator

Hello I purchased a Predator monitor and the 29/12/2015 i did apply for the offer of getting my HEADSET and SC2 for free so basically my problem is I live in FRANCE and the SHIPPING company seem's to have BIG problems with our delivery so i would like to ask if u experienced same issue. The 5/02/2016 the Shipping company received our parcels and only needed to deliver them to us but they have internal issues and it is taking to much time to come to our houses. One friend of mine just read that his parcel was Reshipped to the sender and it means that he will not receive it, I think i will encounter the same problem because will leave in the same city and next to each other. I would like to ask FRENCH ACER COMMUNITY MANAGER if its normal that the SHIPPER "COLIS PRIVE" have some serious problem with our parcels... We shoulda receive the parcel almost week ago...PLZ HELP ME AND MY FRIEND AND all who are in the same problem...

Acer Aspire E 15 Start started to slow

I've had my laptop for a couple of months now so its new. But recently because of what i did it started to slow down. I wanted to shut down my computer however i oressed restart by mistake and so while restarting I i turned it off by holding the power button.When i turned it back on, my computer was slower than usual. I have done the very same thing a couple of times and this time this happened. Maybe i broke something or i dont know i cant figure it out. Also i play league of legends on this laptop and it ran 60+ frames persecond before, but now it runs 4 frames per second up to 30 frams per second. I do not know whats wrong, please help.

I am using aa Acer Aspire 5349-2592 running Windows 8. I have downloaded java JDK 8. When I go to cmd and enter C:\>java I get an long speel from java starting Usage: java [-options ] ...etc and going on for about fifteen lines Then I get a C:\> prompt instead of the C:\java> prompt shown in the instuctions for "Hello World" also when I start java mission control i gat a message that says No local (attachable JVMs were detected etc. Can any one help? Intel drivers Star Wars Battlefront

Bought Battlefront today, and can't get it to run. It needs newer drivers for Intel HD graphics 4600, but there are no drivers on Acers support page that are new. The latest driver is dated in july or august. I can of course download directly from Intel, but will Acer allow me to install it? NO! How can I update drivers?

I have a Acer Aspire computer with the pre-installed Windows 2010 starter software. Just recently my computer is telling me that the WIndows Starter registration number is no longer valid and that I will have to buy the Windows systems(Word/Excell). I was thinking that the starter program would be valid on my computer for as long as I use the computer. Is this right?..or not right?

Microsoft Office Starter

So I've had my Acer Aspire Timeline X for a little over a year and it came preinstalled with Microsoft Office Starter. Not too long ago I downloaded a trial version of Microsoft Office so I could use the Powerpoint on it. Apparently I had already done so and Microsoft no longer allowed me to download the trial. Well for some reason this jacked up my Starter so now it asks for a product key, which I don't have because it came with my computer. I've already tried talking to Microsoft, I've restored my computer back as far as it will go, and I tried repairing Starter. None of it worked. I feel like the only thing left to do is reboot, but I'm not really sure how to do that. So, 2 things: Anything I can do to salvage my Starter (I'm in college and I bought this computer specifically for college and now it's practically useless), and how to reboot if there are no other options?

slow startup

Hi I have just purchased an Acer A315-51-53GM. All of the updates have been installed as well as the latest BIOS. Fast startup is also ticked but the laptop gets stuck on the ACER screen with the circle for 2/3 minutes. Has anyone got a clue how to fix this please ? Thanks very much in advance
