The Innovation Design Lab

The INNOVATION DESIGN LAB project is a collaborative effort between IED and Acer for Education in Europe to scope out, explore, and define new innovative designs and scenarios within the ConceptD portfolio, in line with the needs of modern and future multimedia creators.

 

Current and former IED students took part in the project, including students from the school's Visual Arts and Design program as well as their Master's level Design - Innovation, Strategy and Product program.

 

Acer provided the school and students with multiple ConceptD devices, allowing them to better visualize their ideas in a 3D modeling environment. With the high-end ConceptD devices, students also did not need to always be present on campus, as the ConceptD laptops were capable of rendering their models directly from home.
