Acer announced enhancements to the ‘Acer Reliability Promise’ by extending the program to B6 monitor series and P5 projector series starting from June 20th. The Acer B6 Monitor series and P5 projectors series combine the latest display technologies with smart Eco features for long term quality viewing with reduced cost of ownership. Acer strives to continuously reduce power consumption whilst enhancing the user viewing experience.

The Program is targeted especially at Small/Medium Businesses/SoHo and offers a unique value for end customers while protecting their investment: customers purchasing a qualifying Acer B6 monitor series and P5 projector series between June 20, 2014 and December 31, 2014 and registering within 30 days will be eligible to claim a 50% refund off the price paid if the product is repaired under warranty within the first year.

‘Acer Reliability Promise’ is part of the company’s continued and strategic investment in the commercial business segment which targets enterprise, public sector and SMB customers and aims to set the industry standard for quality and reliability. The program was initially launched for TravelMate notebooks in August 2013, then extended to Veriton desktops in April 2014 and now covers two Series of the peripheral line-up.

Furthermore, Acer Reliability Program offers the opportunity to migrate to Window 8.1 in a cost efficient way considering that the security updates and technical support on Windows XP ended on April 8 this year.

Details of the Program

• Reliability Promise: If a qualifying Acer notebook or desktop or monitor or projector develop a fault in the first year and is repaired under warranty, Acer promises to fix it free of charge and refund 50% of the purchasing price for up to 50 PCs per End-user Company.
