Acer today introduces its B6 Series and V6 Series LED-backlit monitors, targeted to business users. These monitors are made with post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and are EPEAT Gold1 registered in several countries, including Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland and the USA.
The B6 Series exhibits professional style plus ergonomic design. With the multi-functional ErgoStand, the screen tilts from -5 to 35 degrees to ensure the best viewing angle; the base rotates 120 degrees from left or right for easy screen sharing; panel height can be adjusted over a range of 150 mm for optimum comfort; and the screen can pivot from horizontal to vertical for more viewing perspectives.
The B6 Series also features Full HD resolution, and uses Acer ComfyView technology, which reduces light reflection for more comfortable viewing under various commercial settings. This series has a built-in USB 3.0 port, as well as a Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) port for synchronizing content between the monitor and any MHL-capable mobile device. This connection enables users to take their audio-visual enjoyment to a larger display from their mobile device. Moreover, with a magnetic paper clip stand, it delivers more convenience for users at the workstations.
Acer V6 Series monitors are available for exceptional value, while delivering Full HD resolution and a high contrast ratio of 100 million:1. Also eco-friendly, these monitors feature a mercury- and arsenic-free panel; LED backlighting for reduced power consumption; and are ENERGY STAR® and TCO 6.0 qualified2.
As part of Acer’s ongoing commitment to sustainable operations and corporate social responsibility, the methods used to carry out product design and material management are distinctly meant to reduce environmental impact. Acer’s product design principles emphasize modularization, and components that are easy to dismantle and recycle.
The B6 Series ranges from 19 to 27 inches, while the V6 Series goes from 17 to 27 inches. Both series will be available starting Q1 2013.
